British Beer & Pub Association (Sept Oct 2023)

Genius Brewing are members of the British Beer & Pub Association, the UK's leading trade association representing pubs and breweries. Its members brew over 90% of British beer and own over 20,000 pubs, ranging from family brewers and regional pub companies to international breweries and the UK's largest pub estates.

On Wed October 11th, we attended the latest BBPA Council Meeting in Manchester, together with leaders of the UK’s largest brewers and pub companies. Hosted by BBPA CEO Emma McClarkin, the meeting discussed the industry’s key current issues including the trend for moderation. As the UK’s first light craft beer brand. Genius Brewing is all about ‘smart drinking’ and giving beer lovers the option of great-tasting, ‘better for your’ craft beers.

Later that evening, the Genius Brewing team enjoyed the BBPA Annual Fundraising Dinner at the spectacular Albert Hall in Manchester. Hosted by Emma McClarkin and TVs Mark Durdan-Smith, the evening was both great fun but also an opportunity to raise money for worthy causes.
