Genius Brewing Limited (“Genius Brewing”,”Genius”, “we“, “us” or “our“) respects the privacy rights of users and recognises the importance of protecting and handling information collected in accordance with both the law and best practice. This Privacy Policy, together with our Terms of Service and any other documents referred to below (“Privacy Policy”) tells you (“you” or “your“) how your personal information is collected, used, stored and disclosed by GENIUS BREWING as well as specific choices you can make about your information.

This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect when you use or access our online or mobile services available at www.geniusbrewing.com (” Site “), products, services or applications (collectively, the “GENIUS BREWING Services”), or when you otherwise interact with us. For the purposes of understanding roles in regard to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) – GENIUS BREWING is defined as the data controller a company incorporated in Scotland (registered number SC539790) with registered office at 168 Bath Street, Glasgow G2 4PT

1. Use of the Website and the Services is also governed by the GENIUS BREWING Privacy Policy which is incorporated into the Terms & Conditions.

2. GENIUS BREWING, as Data Controller, appoints the Client under license to gain access to and use the Personal Data from its own venues as described in the Term & Conditions of use.

3. GENIUS BREWING will only process the Personal Data to provide the Services or otherwise to comply with applicable laws or regulatory requirement.

4. GENIUS BREWING will ensure that any person with access to or processing the Personal Data is subject to a duty of confidence.

5. GENIUS BREWING will take appropriate technical and organisational security measures to ensure the security of processing and protect the Personal Data from accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised access or disclosure or unlawful processing.

6. GENIUS BREWING authorises the Client to appoint sub-processors as they deem appropriate or necessary for the provision of the Services.

7. GENIUS BREWING will assist the Client in providing subject access and allowing data subjects to exercise their rights under the GDPR.

8. GENIUS BREWING will assist the Client in meeting its GDPR obligations in relation to the security of processing, the notification of personal data breaches and data protection impact assessments.

9. GENIUS BREWING will provide mechanisms to delete the record of a single Data Subject, and to delete all Personal Data at the end of the contract. Contact jason@geniusbrewing.com

10. GENIUS BREWING will immediately inform The Client if it appears they are infringing the GDPR or other data protection law of the EU or a member state.

11. Nothing within this contract relieves GENIUS BREWING as Data Controller or the Client as Data Processor of its own direct responsibilities and liabilities under the GDPR.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make any changes, we will notify you by revising the “Last Update” date at the top of this Privacy Policy. This includes a device's IP address (processed during your session and stored in a de-identified form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), and the preferred language used to display our website. Hotjar stores this information on our behalf in a pseudonymized user profile. Hotjar is contractually forbidden to sell any of the data collected on our behalf.

We may use the information (which may include personal information) we collect about you for a variety of purposes, including to:

This link may be shared by our partners globally for the purpose of enabling interest-based content or advertising throughout your online experience (e.g. cross device, web, email and in app etc.) by third parties unaffiliated with our website.
