Serving Ace Beer at Cromlix (July 2022)

Cromlix Hotel is a 5* country hotel owned by Scottish tennis legend Sir Andy Murray. Located near his childhood home town of Dunblane and set in 34 acres of secluded woodlands and garden grounds, with its own chapel and house loch, the hotel boasts 5 suites and 10 bedrooms.

The Chez Roux restaurant, originally overseen by the late legendary French chef Albert Roux, is now overseen by his son Michel Roux Jr, and housed in the glass-walled conservatory overlooking the grounds. The Cromlix menu focuses on using seasonal, locally sourced produce and can be accompanied by an excellent selection of wines, beers, and cocktails.

The bar specialises in locally-brewed beers and now includes Gen!us Craft Lager. Brewed nearby in Alloa, Gen!us light craft beers combine the best craft quality with low calories and less alcohol. Gen!us Craft Lager is light and refreshing, with a zesty citrus finish. At 3% ABV and only 79 calories per bottle, Gen!us low calorie beers are perfect with a light lunch or as a way to reduce the indulgence of a 5* evening dinner.
